howdy fans! it's been awhile, in the words of aaron lewis. earlier in the week i shot a scene that involved my other sister, lauren. that went well. it went along with a scene that i shot about half a year ago, and the two fit together perfectly. then, on tuesday we got together and filmed at lomax's house the beginning and ending scenes that were in his room. those turned out fine. i'm currently loading my footage onto my harddrive for editing later. i anticipate us finishing this movie by september. maybe august. but let's not push it.

well, phil and i are up here at the church, editing the scenes that come before and after the scrabble scene. it is really funny. he is over in the corner right now filming himself reading a random book he pulled off the shelf. anyway, more to come later.

well, i'm at the church recording my third tape from filming. this tape was recording back in early november when we recorded with matthew and phil. i don't have much room left on my portable harddrive, so i better delete some stuff when i get home. this next week is spring break, pretty much our last week before school gets out that we have to film. so hopefully we can get some scenes that don't involve lomax this week.

okay...so i lied. we didn't record saturday. lomax went back to shreveport. however, me and phil are up here loading up the footage from his camera onto my portable harddrive. we will record eventually when lomax comes in one weekend. time is getting tight. it doesn't help being a senior in high school with applications for scholarships and such being due every day of the week. there's always something to do. we will finish it eventually...i promise. even if it means working on it after we graduate, we will finish it. i promise.

"so this is the new year..."

well...it's january 1st. school starts tommorrow. the movie is still not done. but after church tonight i had a conversation with kk and lomax in the parking lot:

kk: we should film.

me: yeah. how about next weekend? not the 7th...but the 14th.

lomax: that sounds good.

me: yeah...and we should do it at like 8 o'clock in the morning. we can get it done in a day.

kk: maybe...

the conversation continued. but i will leave it at that. we will try and record all of the scenes that involve lomax that day. i'll update later. happy new year folks. five days is coming soon.

well, i edited a few scenes. they are really awkward, and i think they are really funny as well. kk's performance is just hilarious. i can't wait to show you this movie. it will be funny.

well. here i am with another saturday with nothing to do. now is not a good time to film, because of cosmetic reasons. (matthew cut off his chin-hair thing and lomax got a hair-cut, which i haven't seen yet) if we were to film, there would be a lot of inconsistencies with previous shots. anyway, i do have my hard-drive with all of the footage up til now. i'll probably edit the scenes that i haven't gotten to do yet. i'll tell you how it went later.

hello all. we are at the church because it is the only computer we know of with a firewire card, and that is what we need to upload digital video to a computer. so anyway, we are currently uploading the footage from phil's camera and earlier we filmed lomax in his car, shirtless. don't ask. don't ask. but his car was really moldy, and also his car is messed up on the body kit, so we were limited on the shots we could do. peyton even rode along too as we shot the footage. now we are sitting around talking about nintendo, and i'm listening to the conversation as i try to think of what to type right now. anyway, i will come back later with more updates.

well...me and phil here...everything went to plan...except we didn't go around town and shoot at the various establishments of our community. that will come another day. as i sit here, phillip says, "when we get this done, it will funny." and as i quietly mumble these words as i type, i agree with that statement. it will be funny. yes, it will.

yes! we are finally filming today! i am so excited...the last time was approx. two months ago on august 27. so we're back...and ready to film. todays plan: film a scene with phil and matt that takes place at matt's house, more accurately matt's room. then, we will go to various places around town (mcdonalds, walmart, h.e.b., etc.) and film matt walking into these various establishments. i'm not going to spoil anything, but lets just say this is a good little joke for the movie. if we have enough time, we will film a scene that takes place with matthew on the telephone.

i'll update tommorrow and tell of what actually happened, cause nothing ever happens as planned when we do this movie-making thing. (hence the name ["spontanously planned productions"] of our production company)
